Custom Homes and Large-Scale Remodels in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah.

Building a home—or taking on a major construction project—can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. At MBD, we guide you through every step of the process. We specialize in custom homes and large-scale remodels, partnering with our clients to bring intentional, beautifully designed spaces to life. For the right design-driven partners, we also take on select commercial projects that align with our standards and approach. By limiting the number of projects we undertake and developing trustworthy relationships with some of the most talented trades throughout the valley, including architects, designers, vendors, and craftsmen; we’re able to build with superior workmanship, attention to detail, and the highest level of customer service. Our goal is simple: to build beautiful, lasting spaces that you and your family can enjoy for years to come.

Our Process

We build homes the way we’d want to live in them—solid, welcoming, and full of character. Working alongside the best designers, architects, and engineers in Salt Lake City and Park City, we’ll walk you through every step of the journey, from the first blueprint to the day you step over the threshold. Every home we build tells a story. Let’s start yours.

  • We discuss your needs, concerns, and priorities for the project. We want to get to know you in depth so we can help create a space that reflects your ideas. We will also discuss budget in order to determine a scope that will work within your resources. We’re happy to work with your architect and designer, or help connect you with the best partners for your project.

  • Once we have an understanding of your project’s unique needs and scope, we work on creating a detailed preliminary estimate for the project. Project planning and estimating is a process. We work directly with the design team, our trade partners, and the clients to build a thorough estimate and scope of work. We facilitate a value engineering process to match the project goals to the budget.

  • Once the final design and budget for your project are completed, we move on to the construction phase. We use an online project management system that gives you access to items such as project timeline, budget, and selections, giving you peace of mind throughout the build. We also hold frequent client meetings either on-site or via zoom.

  • Our goal is to make the construction process transparent and enjoyable for our clients.

While our main work is Custom Homes and Remodels, we love to take on Commercial Projects for clients who share our commitment to design, detail, and quality execution.
